    StockUnlimited offers several download formats, PNG, EPS, SVG and JPEG. EPS and SVG files require a vector editing program such as SVG Edit, Corel DRAW, Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator for full editing capability.

    PNG and JPEG files are lossy photo formats. PNG files support transparency and best used for graphics or images with blocks of flat colour and no gradients. JPEGs do not support transparency, but can handle up to 16.7 million colors, making them the right choice for complex photos and images. EPS and SVG files are lossless vector formats, meaning they can be scaled without loss of compression. EPS files are ideal for any tasks that requires you to insert images into other pages, such as PDF files or text documents for business presentations or slideshows while the SVG format is perfect for 2 dimensional shapes and icons such as cartoon graphics and illustrations.
