Why is AI cheaper than stock?

A stock photo is a real, licensed photograph with legal protection, and the photographer is paid: 10 credits, $0.10. An AI image is 1 credit, and so is an edit by prompt. New accounts start with 30 credits — three photos — and every account gets 3 free credits a day.

Do credits expire?

Credits are valid for their billing period — 30 days on Monthly, 12 months on Annual — so nothing you paid for vanishes mid-cycle.
