Larger images shrink to fit; smaller ones keep their size. SVGs are drawn at exactly this size.

Fills transparent areas, since JPG can’t keep them.

Free, no sign-up. Location and camera details (EXIF) are always removed: each file is redrawn and saved fresh.

TIFF to JPG · Free · No upload

Convert TIFF to JPG and shrink big scans.

Scanners and print workflows save TIFF because it doesn't lose detail, which also makes the files huge. A JPG of the same scan is a small fraction of the size and opens anywhere.

Your files never leave your device.

How to convert TIFF to JPG

  1. 1
    Add TIFF files

.tif and .tiff scans and exports up to 100 MB.

  2. 2
    Choose quality and size

Quality 90 for archive copies; add a max width to make sharing copies smaller.

  3. 3
    Download

Save the JPGs or a ZIP of all of them.

Questions people ask

What happens with multi-page TIFFs?
The largest image in the file is converted, which is the main page of a single scan. For multi-page documents, scan to PDF instead.
Is 16-bit color kept?
No. JPG stores 8 bits per channel, so deep-color scans are reduced to standard color, which looks the same on screen.
Why keep the TIFF?
For printing and further restoration, the TIFF holds more detail. Use the JPG for sharing.
Are my scans uploaded?
Yes. The conversion runs in your browser, so the files stay on your device: nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by us.
